How do I get a replacement part for a futon memory foam.
My Mainstays Model MS-50-20 Motion Sensor Trash Can has this problem. Even with new batteries installed the lid only opens about 2 inches.
I did everything the users manual said to do but won't work. The Manual says if nothing works to contact Customer Service but no phone number?.
Anyone experienced this and why it doesn't open wide? Or do you know how to get help?
I just called Walmart/Mainstays with this exact same problem. They weren't any help. I guess we just won't buy their products any more.

How can I get replacement parts for my garage can.
I purchased a Mainstays garbage can in April 2021 and it doesn’t open and close. There is a 2 year warranty with no contact information listed anywhere!
Walmart customer service is useless and sends you to bogus numbers! I need the Mainstays direct phone number or a refund!

The lid doesn’t work is it Covered by warranty?I change the batteries which I have done in the past, but the lid still doesn’t open. It should be covered by warranty but where should I return the lid
Good question. I am in the same boat. I've been trying to get a replacement for months now. I am sent to their warrantee company - Square Trade even though I explained that I didn't purchase a warrantee, the can comes with one and I need a replacement. Then I'm given another number that is useless and then I'm told to go to Mainstays.com/contact and send an email to Mainstays. Only that website doesn't even exist. I am at the point that I am about to order the same trash can take the lid and return the broken one. I've had it. I'm so fed up.
Why are you picture frames sized too small.
Your 12x18 inch Format Frame Front Loading is 1/8th inch to small in both directions. I have seen this in other sizes too.
So my photos will not fit.
This has been going on for some years. Why don't you fix the sizing?

What do I do to get a new lid under the warranty ??

They don’t help worth a damn! They are Totally useless. I called there twice. First time, the rep gave me incorrect info and the second time, a different rep said he couldn’t even get information on the company.
I got hung up on the first time. The second time they wouldn't help and wanted me to dispute a charge from 8 months ago. I was like 'there is a 2 year warranty, that's what I want I don't want to return it'. There was definitely a language barrier. I asked multiple times how to contact about the warranty and was told to dispute the charges with the bank multiple times.
Following in case you figure something out. I am having the same issue with a Mainstays trash can that "supposedly" has a 2 year warranty but have gotten the same response from Walmart.
